Photographer and filmmaker with nearly 30 years of experience creating visual storytelling across photography, film, and digital media. Originally trained in graphic design and painting, Karsten established a digital photography studio in Chelsea, New York in 1999.

His work spans advertising, portraiture, music, documentary storytelling, and branded visual content. Known for combining cinematic imagery with authentic documentary moments, he has worked with musicians, artists, cultural organizations, and international brands.
