I had the honor of working with Mick Jones on the Foreigner Orchestral Album. I came on to document the project and ended up designing the album and cover — the start of a beautiful working relationship that lasted for years.

John Varvatos
Collaboration
John Varvatos has collaborated with Westfield World Trade Center on a digital exhibition featuring the works of artist/photographer Karsten Staiger. These original photographs, captured at dizzying heights from the rooftop of NYC buildings, will be presented on the shopping center’s state of the art digital signage network composed of 19 large format screens with over 25 million LED pixels and an impressive 100 yard screen located below the base of 1 WTC.

Proud to break ballet’s color and body barriers, Misty hit the rooftops with New York Natives to show what it really is to be the Firebird on pointe, dancing across our City skyline in a magnificent costume from New York Vintage.

New York Love Story evolved out of Staiger’s desire to approach New York from new perspectives and spectacular heights. He creates an expansive collection of exceptionally high-resolution large format photographs of NYC, while simultaneously documenting the entire process with still photography and video.
