Stories of Strength, Resilience, and Living with Breast Cancer
I am currently working on a very personal documentary about women who are living with or have survived breast cancer. This film grew out of my own story - I lost my mother to this disease at a young age. Since then, this subject has been a constant part of my life, and today, I am seeking to give it a voice through my work.
The interviews are not just about the illness itself, but primarily about the people behind it: their thoughts, their fears, their strength, their dignity - and those quiet, honest moments that often remain invisible. Every woman decides for herself what she wants to share. There is no pressure; no question has to be answered.
My goal is to create a film that touches hearts, builds connections, and fosters understanding - for those affected, for their loved ones, and for anyone engaging with this topic. I hope these stories can give strength to other women and show them: You are not alone.
The film is intended for a public audience (e.g., festivals, exhibitions, or online release), but it is being produced with the utmost respect and sensitivity. It is very important to me that every participant feels safe and maintains control over what is shown at all times.
Information about the Interview
The conversation takes place in a calm, relaxed atmosphere and lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours - with plenty of breaks whenever you need them. You can dress however you feel most comfortable and authentic. There are some questions to serve as a gentle guide, but you decide what you want to talk about - and what you don’t.
